Premature and Punitive Return to Work

Have you been released to work, only to be assigned "work" that is belittling?

Do you feel like the "modified" work your employer is giving you is to embarrass you in front of your coworkers?

Has the doctor returned you to modified work and your injuries are just getting worse?

I have seen so many cases where an employer uses the Return to Work process to retaliate against, or shame an injured employee for filing a workers compensation claim. I have seen hundreds of cases where the insurance company uses a nurse case manager to convince the doctor to return you to work even though you haven't even had a MRI to diagnose how severe your injuries are.

Premature return to work and treatment delays can cause much more severe injuries than the initial accident.

You need an advocate to fight for you so that you can get prompt treatment and, if possible, return to work and do so in a dignified manner. Don't let them intimidate you into giving up on getting better.
